Clinton Hebert, 76, son of the late Fidney Hebert and Alvanie Boudreaux of Lake Charles, LA, went to be with the Lord on the morning of August 28, 2017, in Sulphur, LA.

He was raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where he began developing a passion for auto mechanics. In the early 60s, his passion led him to Houston, Texas, where there were many more opportunities available for him to grow his passion into a very rewarding career. As he developed into a master mechanic he met and married the love of his life, Syble. With the marriage, not only did he get a new wife, he also inherited a new family. He loved being a helpful grandfather. Family was always the most important part of his life. In 1998, Syble lost her battle with a lengthy illness. As Clinton engrossed himself into his work at DeMontrond Auto Group in Houston, he met a wonderful companion Mary Halliburton whom lived in Louisiana. After retiring, he moved to Sulphur, Louisiana, where he and Mary were married. Their time together was spent enjoying each others company and visiting many casinos in the area. Although Clinton and Mary's years together were few, as she would be taken by a brief illness, they enjoyed every moment.

He is survived by a sister, Marie "Pat" Zeuch of Haughton, LA; nephews James Zeuch, wife Susan of Edmond, OK, and Scott Zeuch, wife Amanda of Haughton, LA, and one niece, Fran Trice of Haughton, LA, as well as many loved ones in Illinois, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. He will always be lovingly remembered as "Uncle Clinton". Many thanks go out to his cousins Leon Richard and Shirley Lavergne, husband Ray, all of Sulphur, LA, for the love, kindness and friendship shown to Uncle Clinton during his final years.

Viewing will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., Thursday, September 14, 2017, at the Hixson Funeral Home in Sulphur, Louisiana, followed by a rosary at 5 p.m. and memorial service at 5:30 p.m. The Rev.
